Hi I'm having trouble posting, I can post but just in a roundabout way. When I am adding a comment or creating a post this is what happens... I write my post then press post...nothing happens! what I then have to do is press to refresh the page then it shows me the option to restore or discard. I then restore my comment and can post comment. This started after son upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 Any ideas how to resolve? Going on a good few weeks now.

Oh, that's strange, I've used Windows 10 on my laptop for posting on the forum with no problems. Is fhe problem only from your laptop?

I'll try from my laptop later to see if I get the same problem. Not been using the laptop much recently as I've got my tablet back from repair.

Are you using Internet Explorer or a different browser? What version?

Hi when son upgraded to Windows 10 it changed from Internet Explorer to the new Edge. I will ask son to put another browser on perhaps Firefox to see what happens?!

I had a bit of trouble with Firefox a while back - I think Chrome is better if you haven't otherwise got strong feelings.

Hmmm, I've avoided upgrading to Windows 10 until I have some time to ensure everything I use on my development environment will work on it. Which makes it a bit difficult to diagnose a problem. But I would certainly suggest Chrome to see if that's any different. Browsers all have their own ways of interpreting the code that websites are written in (if those websites deviate from the "standard") and so it is possible that the new version of the browser is doing something that hasn't been catered for.

Thanks folk I will get son to put Chrome on when he gets a chance. I was on a website yesterday for my work (online learning) and it just wouldn't load either and I see when I go onto the Next website it comes up that its not supported by this browser so I think they must be having a few teething troubles with this new Edge. Thanks for all your thoughts

Worked fine for me with first click ....... Interestingly I've also just thought to go the Next website and got a message come up that due to technology the Next website needs Internet Explorer and gives me the option to switch.
