My puppy is 11 weeks old, she is usually super at doing all her toilets outside and even asks to go out. But today she seems unable to control her bladder at all - am I right in thinking it could be a water infection or is she just having a bad day? She seems a bit grumpy too - which is not her at all! Thanks

It's a tough call between just a house training set back (11 weeks is still very young to consider that done), or possibly yes a UTI.
Puppy Gemma had two UTI's in her first year, it seems quite common in young 'uns.

These are the symptons to look out for for a UTI.
-Out of character indoor pee accidents.
-The first pee of the day had a spot on blood in it, hard to notice if they're going on grass etc
-Peeing way more often than usual

The real tell for me, once I learned what it meant was :

    -Strained/prolonged squatting.
After squatting and peeing, she stayed in the squat for ages after the pee was finished - even with a good toilet biscuit on offer she just didn't want to move!

Apart from "out of character", which is maybe too hard to call for an 11 week old, do any of those other symptoms match up?
If so, a simple course of anti-biotics should put her right. When ours came back a second time I was asked to take in a urine sample afterward, so they could check it really had gone

Urinary Tract Infections can be painful , I would see your Vet and take a sample with you just to be on the safe side, they can easily be treated, good luck .

Definitely a visit to the vet if it were me. Frequency of peeing and generally out of sorts today sounds as if it could be an infection. Let us know how you get on xx
