Apparently scrubbable paint is good stuff. But don't worry, they're much cleaner in winter, aren't they everybody?!! ;)

We have grease on the corner of the living room wall, from 3 different height dogs too, lovely. Not washable paint, so doesn't come off very well either. Well, it like having heights of your children on the door frame isn't it. Nice. x

Ha, that is a classic. You need to write their names next to their grease marks.

The carpet man came. The carpet man did not want to say hello to Obi so Obi barked at him and had to have 'time out' in the study ::)

This is what we are getting. Somewhere in the middle of the Yellow Lab and Dirt spectrum:

Time will tell if it's a sensible choice. We got our bathroom tiles to suit our black Lab - charcoal grey. We previously had white tiles which drive me insane with their constant black fur drifts. Now we have blond drifts on the dark tiles. You can't win, can you. :)

    It looks sensible.

Hah my kitchen area - kitchen, eating room, Charlie's room, quite a big area - white tiles. Driving me a little mad with brown hair....

The man who came to fix the alarm yesterday didn't want to say hello to Charlie, so Charlie jumped in his tool box. It's their own fault, I say.

Amy looks so sad when people walk past her without saying hello! Especially as she is in the "sit" waiting for them!

When I first started teaching "sit" instead of mugging everyone he saw to say hello, a few times I even went as far as to say "it would make his day if you said hello". I couldn't take it, he was was sat, quivering with the effort, sweeping his tail from side to side on the ground, and looking so hopeful, AND PEOPLE WALKED BY - a labrador PUPPY! What is wrong with them?

Poor little pups being ignored :( some people have no soul

Riley got some love at the garden centre today where we went for a snack after Riley's swim. He was still damp and they still wanted to say hi. My kind of people :D

Great place, he knows to sit when we're paying and they always have dog treats behind the till.

Hmm..not sure what's worse....constant vacuuming up of carpet or the clouds of fur that drift around on the laminate....my hubby thought our BC shed a lot and I kept saying I thought he was pretty good, fur wise. Hubs is eating his words now that we are all getting gently encased in brown fur.... Upside being that Simba actually seems to like getting combed!!! Unlike my BC who barely tolerated it. I am eyeing up a Furminator or whatever they're called for when I get back! My husband got a strange gleam in his eye when I told him about it!!! ::) he's much more of a neat freak than me!!! ;D

So, I'm busy and try to use time wisely. So I need to get bang for my minute in terms of puppy socialisation.

The WORSE place for people ignoring a labrador puppy is... Waitrose, Wimbledon, London (name and shame, name and shame...). Got only 2 "hits" in 20 mins... people with puppy-loving-children-aged walked by...even when child looked over, longingly...

The BEST place, for people patting and cuddling puppy is...ASDA, St Austell, Cornwall (credit where credit is due...), got about 15 "hits" - cubs, brownies, old people, people in mobility scooters, people in crash helmets...

Not a huge success at garden centres in London... though will try next week in Cornwall...

Suspect it might be rural/city rather than ASDA/Waitrose... although, ASDA should include it in its marketing ads anyway I think - "more puppy loving people than Waitrose or your money back..."

Well, we don't have Waitrose in Australia, but I'm boycotting them, as of now ;) Especially that Wimbledon one. I simply refuse to shop there. The fact that it's 20 000 km away can only help me to maintain my resolve.

I have noticed yellow hairs upstairs now. Must be from our clothes. We have dark wood floors, black sofas, and red carpets upstairs.

You need to adopt the Facebook concept to get Charlie value for time cuddles.

'Stop and pat if you Like ,walk on by and ignore if you're a Numpty!' ;)
