OK, I'm succumbing. I clearly need limited slip leads for my two. For all the training sessions we're going to do next year, obviously.

So, I'm going with the ones from TuffStuff. They come highly recommended and, most importantly, I can colour-coordinate them with the kit I already have for my two (Willow has to wear red, and Shadow looks dashing in blue).

They offer free embroidery on the leads, up to 12 characters. I really wish they didn't, because now I have to decide what to have on them. I can choose to keep them blank, but it's freeeeeee!!!! ;)

I'm considering *WORKING*. Or, maybe, *DANGER!* to keep people away when I'm training ;)
I have a multitude of languages to deal with here, but I can't please everyone, so think I'll just stick to English.

Of course, I'm probably only ever going to be using them when I'm on formal training sessions with a trainer, so both of those would be a bit pointless in that situation. Hmmm, maybe I'll just go blank. It just seems such a waste to not take advantage of it. I love a freebie, me.

What would you have? Funny suggestions more than welcome ;)

Yes, I saw that. I can't think of why I'd write anything on those leads - it's not like they stay on the dog when its working like a collar. But, like you, I was tempted....

For all those times people ask me what he is,I'd have:
    He's a LABRADOR
Probably wouldn't fit though with the spacing and apostrophe!

What about "recovering from anorexia" or "just been fed" so that people know you're working on their weight ☺

I do like "Labrador" but I bet people would still ask!

I don't know but I wish you'd stop shopping; I just ordered the towel you put a link for on the other post - I am not looking up these leads - no, really I'm not!

If it would fit I'd have "yes she really is a Labrador". As the latest comment has been while out walking. "Chocolate labs can be a bit silly just like your puppy".

I already started looking at those gloves some weeks ago when you were asking about good ones. Was it Lochan's suggestion? Anyway, totes fake fur and suade are fantastic or my old running gloves. Yer sealz are too much for me. What boots have you got ????

I just wear walking boots in the summer (some Salomon things which are OK, not amazing but they fit, which is a bonus because I have tiny feet and buying shoes is a horrible chore). My winter ones are Sorels, which are super warm and non-slip, which is important with our conditions. They are sadly too big, because they don't make them in my size, but I have padded them out with footbeds and they're good enough.

I have and still use a bright blue lead with "TRAINING" woven the entire length. I found it very useful.

I wonder if training will ever be over? As soon as I get on top of one thing, I find another I need to address.Big Sigh.

Molly had her second birthday in September. She hasn't turned into the calm dignified dog I thought I was getting. She is still very playful and boisterious. I think that is her doganality (the canine version of personality)

I nearly put their names on our tuff stuff leads but went blank in the end and just chose two different colours :)

You could perhaps put your telephone number/contact details on the lead - slip leads are on/off shoved in back pocket, fall out pocket - kind people might find and return

    Haha, Love that!

I decided to go with plain. How unadventurous.
