Hello there, and a very warm welcome to the forum. We'd love to hear more about you and your dog.

I can't help with your question I'm afraid, I'm in the UK (as are a lot of members on this forum) and our dogs don't get rabies vaccinations.

Perhaps your vet could tell you - can you call him and ask perhaps?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Where do you live?

I live in Andorra and our dogs are required to be vaccinated against rabies. Our vet recommends a week either side (so either worming, wait a week, then rabies or vice versa).

I never get too worried about worming, as long as you aren't in an area where there there is a problem, and your lab has been wormed relatively recently. What does your vet suggest?

If you are planning to travel in a month or so, then leave the wormer until 48 hours BEFORE you leave the country you are visiting. You have to do this anyhow, so no point in worming before you go away. This will need to be signed off by a local vet of the country you are visiting.

Hi and welcome. I live in Germany, and we vaccinate against rabies as a matter of course. As Fiona (Snowbunny) says, leave a week to 10 days either side of the vaccination before worming.

Hi and welcome. I live in France and although rabies isn't required both my cats and dog are vaccinated but for travel purposes. When Juno had her vaccination our vet said worming would be fine in a week to ten days.
