    I am so terribly sorry to dear your sad news , what a shock and dreadful loss for you to cope with . Hoping that your news puppy can help to fill the void that Kes has left x

    Always sad to lose a dog, but so much more so at such a young age :(
    I hope your new pup brings as much joy as Kes did.

    Thank you all for your kind replies.
    It has been a difficult time, Bella was the dog that it affected most as she was a puppy when we already had Kes and bonded with her.
    Indie was not affected to the same extent as Bella who kept going outside to look for her, and when out in the fields if she saw a black Lab, she would run over to check.
    Puppy time in 2 weeks, so more photos and early mornings to come.

    I'm so sorry for you and your dogs at the sad loss of Kes, terribly tragic at only 5 years old. Rest in peace Kes.
    A new pet never ever replaces our lost furry babies but they do help to heal our broken hearts.
