Dexter played ball at the park with me today, what a star. I was so excited I had to call my husband at work, lol.
He's been such a good boy today, excellent progress on lead (so different to yesterday). Very good off lead and what a bonus, enjoying retrieving the ball somewhere other than the garden. He's now crashed out on the carpet. Love my big lanky puppy

Thank you, Karen, I hope so too. Dexter was so happy, with a big grin on his face. Proud mum today.

Thank you all, it's great to write a happy post for a change, I've written so many for help when things are tough or worrying. A lot of hard work (blood, bruises, sweat and tears, lol) all worth it.

Thank you all for your help in getting us to today.

Ah made me smile reading this... We read and post a lot about training and health concerns ( which is no problem of course ) but it's so lovely to read a post about fun and good times ! Good boy Dexter x

Oh how sweet! I'm glad I checked this forum just before bedtime. What a happy story to read before I go to sleep. These are the things we love so much about our Labs. Well done Dexter!

Well done Dexter! It's amazing how satisfying transferring something from home to park is. Labrador love!

I was totally amazed with Dexter, his lead walking is making excellent progress too. He's happier in his new harness that arrived yesterday.
Transferring what he does at home to the park was a great feeling, much more fun for both of us.
