Boo! Amy still biting when she wants to be playing with us. We do everything we have been advised to do. It's not even just when she over excited.
Re: still biting at nearly 6 months. Hurting biting?Dexter was 5 months when he came to us and I would say we still had a month or so of mouthing.....which could hurt if he was excited ....first dog though so haven't got anything to compare.....he's stopped now and all we did was the loud ouch's and stopped play if he got too rough....and it's phased out.
Re: still biting at nearly 6 months. We got Lady when she was 6 months old and she was mouthing really badly. It took months and months to get her to stop completely, so don't despair, just keep up the good work consistently.
Re: still biting at nearly 6 months. Yeah, we will get there. Think its a shock, a lot cooler today so 2 weeks worth of energy to burn. And of course with her been sleepy we haven't trained much. Doesn't hurt, well does sometimes but she doesn't mean too!
Re: still biting at nearly 6 months. I'm afraid Simba at 10 months is still biting/nipping....but he did not get consistent training on this before we got him. I have noticed a reduction as we have been working with him, so am hoping it will eventually stop!!
Re: still biting at nearly 6 months. Oh you will Lisa,it's been your trip that stopped progress ,there was a definite improvement . Amy will stop too ,she's still really young
