I got a front fastening harness a few weeks ago as he (Rory) was going through a difficult patch... I been able to stop using it almost completely now as he's got a lot better at walking calmly. I only use it now for in town shopping and banking. It really helped

JulieT, sorry I didn't make myself clear - Ripple jerks his neck on his collar, not when wearing the harness - he very rarely wears that as I have so much trouble putting it on him.
I will probably never use it in the car now as he is in the crate and will graduate to my proper adult dog car harness when I stop using the crate. I bought it as I didn't realise I could get a crate in the car.

I didn't realise that type of harness could be bad for his neck, I will look at the article and see what would be best.

As far as I can see it would make sense to buy a back and front fastening as then I would have an option, however I can't find a UK stockist for the balance harness, when I put this in the search engine I get the Mekuti balance harness - is this the same thing?

sdegg which harness did you buy?

I got him a perfect fit harness with a front D hook up. It fits really well and he didn't seem to mind it at all. I was very pleased with it
