Took the dogs out into the garden for their last wee at about 11 last night and sat on the bench enjoying the cool air, both did their toileting and then wandering around, Sam in front, Millie following . He headed behind my big pond when suddenly from the cover of the reeds and iris at the edge came the biggest ginger cat I have ever seen
Leader Sam ran, but not after the cat , but to the porch by the back door from which safety, he let out a blood curdling growl ( half in and half out of the door by now ) . Millie meanwhile was flying around the garden like a thing posssessed after the interloper, thankfully she wasnt barking ::) Eventually , the cat made its bid for freedom over the wall, at which point Sam came back out, stood next to Millie , all brave and growled ;D

You've got it all wrong!! Sam was protecting the entrance to the house. ;) Obviously he'd have loved to have gotten in there, in the thick of things, the sharp end of events. But he was thinking ahead. Would make a good chess player would Sam. :)

You stick to that story Sam. They can't prove a thing matey. Courage comes in many forms...x x
