Re: "No" Sounds like a good plan. We are no longer able to give Penny soft toys, she destroys them and rips out all of the stuffing. It's a shame that you need to use new toys all of the time, it must cost you a fortune. I guess we are lucky in that respect that the battered squeaky toys that no longer squeak still entertain Penny. Rotating toys is really useful though, I started doing the same a month or so ago after seeing about 20 toys on the floor and not much interest being shown. Now that she only has access to 5-6 at a time it seems to keep her entertained. Although the tub says they aren't suitable for her age she loves dental chews and the vet said she should be fine even though the packaging says 9 months and older, keeps her busy for about an hour, maybe a bit more if it's a fairly thick one.
Re: "No" I am amazed how many toys you guys are giving your pups to play with. Mine had one little pheasant thingie for some puppy retrieves a couple of times a day and that was it. ;D And a kong when they were teething but nothing else.
Re: "No" Yes, I quite agree it's ridiculous - pups today, I don't know, give them a squeaky bone and the next thing you know it's a £90 pair of trainers and nothing else will do... ;D ;D ;D Seriously though, Charlie only gets 3 at once it's just he stops playing with them very quickly. He can have a new toy, almost identical to an old one, and he'll dance round it like a mad thing. So if I wash toys, and put them away for a while, I can recycle them very successfully. Don't know what that's all about... If I'm honest, I also like Charlie's reaction when I find him a new toy he thinks is the bees knees - so I try to find things interesting things to buy for him. I used to buy shoes and hide the boxes in the back of the wardrobe so OH wouldn't see. Now, he asks "is that a new toy he has?" and of course I say "what? this old thing"....
Re: "No" Haha, Penny is a spoiled little girl. Family and friends shower her in toys and treats so we have plenty .
