Re: Celebrating Took Charlie to the river Fowey this morning - must have been a few miles down from Sam and Millie's stomping ground - it was fab. 2 golden retrievers (Tillie and Bella) who were also there showed him how it was done, but he still didn't swim. He was stood at the maximum depth before he would have to swim, whining because he dare not go further to join in the fun. I reckon he'll be swimming before the holiday is out. It was dark under the trees, so I don't know if I got any photos (although took 700+ so I hope for one or two - I'll post some later if they are worth it). Amazing place! Thanks Caddie, Ziggy and Murffi for the inspiration! (And, and, the owner of Bella and Tillie told me about their dog training club just down the road from me - so I'll look that up, maybe I can go for a few weeks...)
