I will be picking up our puppy at the weekend. She has been feed on Millie's Wolfheart and I will get a starter pack off the breeder. Has anyone feed their dogs on this?
As far as kibble goes this is a premium brand in terms of quality. You can't get much better if you are going to feed kibble. Our two have MW, plus all our fosters are also fed on their various formulations and despite sensitive tums, being underweight/overweight...they all have thrived. We do like their treats and chews too.

I have swopped over to Millie's from Royal Canin and Ripples poos are much firmer and less smelly (barring the odd disgusting thing he eats on his walks). I use the Obedience food - might have to sue under the trade description act though

Think you might have to widen the search for names if minds keep changing. we love coming up with puppy names
I use all MW products and treats and have found them to be great for my dogs. They are also very helpful if you need any advice and they were very kind when I had problems with Rorys tummy when he was young. I use their lambskin chews cows udders and treat regularly. They have a good delivery service and their staff are always helpful.
I rang them and spoke to one of the people who designed their foods he was great and pointed me in the right direction. hope you like their stuff x
Millie's is great food, but for our new pup I have opted for Orijen instead. This is simply because of the calcium levels in MW. It is hard to find a version of MW that isn't above (in some cases, well above) 2%, which is quite high for large breed pups (which includes Labs, as defined by vets rather than the breed standard). There is limited research (the main research being on great Danes, obviously a much larger breed) but what there is shows that pups growing too quickly with too much calcium exhibit higher incidences of bone growth abnormalities (e.g. displasia). Probably, MW will be fine, but my personal view is that it is another risk that I can try to avoid and so I will spend a little more for her first year or so by buying Orijen Large Breed Puppy (1.2% calcium) which is within the AAFCO guidelines for large breed puppy nutrition and still a 80/20 pure meat to veg (no cereals) feed. However, either way, they are both much better feeds than most other things on the market, unless you are prepared to raw feed.
