We have just had the most incredible thunder storm here in south east Cornwall , massive claps of thunder, spectacular lightening and at one point, hail

Sam , fast asleep throughout , Millie in her bed and not appearing too bothered and me, running round like an idiot, turning off all electrical appliances and then sitting with a cushion and rocking slightly ::)
    Its gone now ;D

Hey Kate I was in the same storm - that was not normal! I've never heard anything like it. We were in Fowey and the echo round the estuary hills was incredible. It started just as we went out for our walk - Charlie was ok, but sharpish up the steps back in the house. He had a pee (slightly cut off by a massive roll of thunder) and then a poop in the garden, his dinner, and a play as normal.

I reckon we're ok for the fireworks next week - no way they will be louder than that!

The rain! I got so wet!
