Off to the beach this morning with Lilly, and her "cousin" who is staying for a holiday and about a year old. They definitely look like they are having fun here. 8) http://www.flickr.com/photos/97347575@N04/9442312625/ And just to reassure everyone, we know Lilly can swim since she goes to hydrotherapy and we visit the beach often. We started her cousin in the shallows before getting to the slightly deeper water and waves that you see here. She is pretty confident looking in water, but this was getting deep enough for them both Still within wading distance - its a fairly shallow shelf here and feet just off the ground (well...except when the waves come ;D )
Re: Visit to the Beach Aw how lovely, what a great pair. On one of your other clips Jacqui, what are the little yellow bands around Lilys shins ? She has a beautiful coat by the way.
Re: Visit to the Beach Hi Maggie - yellow bands are a strip of vetrap which we were using to protect the back stopper- pads as she had "skinned" them rattling after her ball on rough tracks. They look a bit like sweatbands ;D In that picture Lilly is at the back and the aerobics dog is called Georgie She is ball mad and sailed without hesitation into the sea after her ball. jac

Re: Visit to the Beach Just seen this - fantastic! I hope Charlie might do that one day, but we're a long way off that! Lovely fit dogs, and a very clean looking beach!
