Tess was a real beauty. I'm sure had a wonderful life in France with all the space to run and play. Do miss my French garden for Juno :(

What a nice memory and thank you for sharing it. What brought it on, do you think? Is it Tess's birthday?

Very astute @Snowshoe Yes, it would have been her birthday on March 15th , almost five years since I lost her but she is in my thoughts, often .

I hope Tess prompts lots of memories for you. Even if they bring a wee tear or two. It was an easy guess for me, Jet's birthday was March 23. March 23, 1993 to Sept. 26, 2007. Miss her, still.

Beautiful photo Kate. I wonder if Tess was actually watching and waiting for those doves to come and play. ;)

Oh, she looks like she was a lovely girl. I don't know why, but when I've heard you talk of her in the past, I've always assumed she was black. Do you have any more photos of her to share?

Oh she was gorgeous, and what a lovely place!

You never forget them, we often have a laugh when reminded of something one of our previous dogs got up to, they each had their different quirks and characters.
