Thank you. We re-homed several kittens too! Seems like almost every time I was over there, I ended up driving back with more dogs than I came with... and several times with small cats miaowing madly in kitty boxes in the back, too! ;D

The total count of animals I re-homed in Germany was seven pups and three kittens. :D

Two beautiful dogs!!! I have had three dogs, one purebred and two cross-bred. 2 of the three came to us without us picking them out, the other was a Border Collie/Austrailian Shepherd mix. All of them wonderful dogs. Dogs are so lovely, and the "mixes" can have such beautiful and interesting looks, sometimes! I guess I can understand both sides - the desire for a certain look or temperament, or just the surprise of getting "whatever". For us it came down to the both the sheer cost of a purebred, as well as giving a home to a dog who was needing one. :)

Poppy and Bella look great together :) Poppy has a lovely smile and I like her little beauty spot ;D

What a wonderful thing you did, rescuing all those animals from cruel or unloving situations.

i own a crossbreed, who is a rescue, we always had to guess what he is,but not so long ago we ordered a dog DNA test which came back to him being a great Pyrenees x Irish water spaniel x Brittany spaniel, which makes him half spaniel, now he does not act like a spaniel he is the laziest dog ever, but we still love him, you still get people saying that he must be a pedigree Great Pyrenees or Bernese mountain dog or Estela mountain dog, which he clearly is not. we thought he was great Pyrenees x golden retriever but no retriever in site.

Well the original price for the kit we got was £60, but we got it on offer for £40, so it is not that expensive but it is not always very accurate but it gives you a very good idea

After 4 years our curiosity did get the better of us, if he had won the scruffts title you get a free DNA test kit as part of the prize, but he didn't win so we bought one ourselves
