It's our trial run of our puppy walker today
Eric has had a walk this morning with hubbie and we will leave for work about 8am.
A local couple are coming in about 10am to take him out in car. He will get an hours walk then home no doubt for a sleep. Our son is home today so will be here this afternoon for him. Then i'm home at 3.30 ready for a trip to beach :)
    Hope this works!
He was grumpy as hell after daycare yesterday morning. It's just too much for him :(

Hope all goes well with the new dog walkers and Eric enjoys his walk with them.

It went well, photos sent to me so I could see.
He was tired but not over tired so we were able to do a lovely seaside training walk.

Then, tonight, I have found out that that the trainer we use has just started to offer the walking service. To say i'm ecstatic is an under statement!! I trust him totally and know that not only will Eric have a great walk but all the training we do will not be in vain when it isn't carried out by others. It's a no brainer... we will definitely be using him for Eric walks when needed

    I'm soooo happy :D

Great news! We have spent ages looking for a good dog walker, our new one started yesterday, like you I was a bit apprehensive.I think our biggest outlay, apart from our mortgage is going to be our dogwalker, I don't mind as she is a clicker trainer, and agility trainer, so money well spent!

That's great that it went well but even better that your trainer can provide walks :)

Homer's dog walker is by far our biggest expense, but well worth it.

    Edited to add.
He's been going to his dog walker since he was 4 months old so it's a second home for him. We found the dog walker before we found our puppy! We've kept the all day arrangement going as it's better for him, expensive but one of the more reasonably priced than dog walkers around where we live. He's well looked after and definitely well exercised. He may well be better trained too than if he was left with me all day.
