    We will have the water delivered. You're not supposed to fill your pool (even to top it up) from the water supply anyway. Although everyone does - you can get quite heavily fined for it. The pool is a LONG way down the line, though. We have rather a lot of other stuff to do before then :)

    Good news, we're just back from another packed weekend and I didn't see a single tick on the dogs all the time we were there. I opted to go with the Frontline Tri-Act alongside the Bravecto, having emailed several vets and asking their advice. I've just given Shadow a thorough going-over (Willow is fast asleep so I'll do her tomorrow) and I didn't find a one - dead or alive. As much as we've cleared a lot of the long grass near the house, they were still running around in the woods and in long grass in the fields, so I'm sure they would have been exposed to them. I also remembered to take my bug spray this time and I don't think I got a bite this time, either. Happy days!
