Morning Kate, how is Casper this morning? really hoping he had a good night in his own home, in own bed with his lovely family around him which is the best medication ever xxx
He is doing really well! Didn't really appreciate the vast number of tablets or the quite forceful coupage (sp?) this morning, however he managed to drag himself next to me when he spotted my coffee and pain au chocolat... Benson in the other hand just mithered and whined all night so at 3am I gave up and he came up to bed with me, poor lad he was quite overwhelmed when Casper came home.
Thank goodness all back to normal. Apart from the tablets obviously. From the photo and the speed that tail must've been moving you wouldn't believe he'd been so ill. Hope Benson has settled now he's had chance to spend a bit of time with his pal. He probably thinks Casper smells funny. So glad casper is home safe and sound.
Super news, Casper is home. Now remember Casper, you have staff, so you rest up and let them run round for you
Totally missed this because i was ill the last couple of days! I'm very very happy Casper is on the mend!!!!
Good to hear that Casper is recovering well at home. I'm sure Benson's reaction is down to the different smell Casper will be "wearing" at the moment. I know when Juno has had GA and her elbow op the cats would go right up to her as she slept and sniff and then wrinkle their noses up, as if to say well it looks like her but it doesn't smell like her.
Update: Casper has been home with us for nearly 2 days. He is doing well, although he tires very easily. He is on loads of meds at the moment and that takes ages in the morning! Took him for a very gentle "sniff n' walk" this morning around the paddock which he loved! Back to the vet later for a check up.
I hope Caspar continues to make the good progress he has done so far. I could just imagine the joy he must have felt with his gentle sniff'n'walk and the joy you must have felt as well.
