Took the dogs to the woods this morning, walking by the river with Millie staying close by . Sam went into the undergrowth and came out with a very expensive looking rolled up umberella There wasnt anyone else walking as we were early so heaven knows what it was doing in the bushes , but he was mightily pleased with his find ;D
Re: This is a first ! Gosh, least its a less dangerous and more useful find than the knife....hope you won't need it too much this coming autumn x
Re: This is a first ! GOOD BOY Sam!!! All my dogs have ever found were revolting old work gloves. Smelly tennis balls. Once a rotting wild boar's skull...
Re: This is a first ! And like a proud Mum Karen are they all displayed Ina cabinet in your lounge?....I'm guessing not he he! X
Re: This is a first ! Ummmmm... No, Angela, they are not! (Although as a very good mother, i did help my son boil up the boar's skull and then whiten it with peroxide, so he could display it in his room... )
Re: This is a first ! ;D ;D Mist useful thing a dog of mine ever found was a TV remote....it had been missing for weeks and we were showing off his " go get your X" trick (X being a certain toy). A friend was visiting and just for fun she said, "Go get the remote". Dog disappears, we were chatting, few minutes later he's back but I'm not paying attention, then notice he's lying down, worrying at something....you guessed it, the remote!!! ;D To this day I have no idea how he did it......he had never learned that word before.....
Re: This is a first ! Good boy, Sam!!!! How funny is that - you must have got a surprise to see the umbrella ;D
