not sure if this is the right place to post this, feel free to move it magical fairies :D. Anyway it might be a long one, stick the kettle on!
So my mortification started last night when we'd all got comfy for the evening. All lying about in pyjamas watching nonsense on the tv. Then Sam & Caoimhe (11yr old border terrier) start barking mad. I went to investigate ( in said mismatched pjs and furry slippers) thinking it was just some noise they heard in the garden . Opened the door to let them out and there's my neighbour and his brother over to look at my puddle from leaky well ( that's another story lol) . So of course Sam loves the neighbour , mad excitement , jumping up , barking , completely ignoring everything . He tried following neighbour home which meant I had to run up the road in pjs only to be passed by what felt like half the population out for evening walks and drives , mortified :run::doug:. Thankfully have session booked with trainer next week and maybe need to stop getting into pjs so early :)

    :D Nice image. Nice.

My new definition of "mortified": The general state of any labrador owner in any situation involving said labrador and another human being.

The new word for me is 'scundered'. What is this?

The appropriate time to get into PJs is ASAP after your arrival home from work. So it seems to me like you are doing it right!! :)

Scundered is being really embarrassed/ mortified :) there'll probably be a few weird words and sayings .
Me running up the street could be said as 'she was beating down the road like 2 men and a wee lad ' :D

Totally agree about pj time ! :D

I think I am WAY past embarrassment now....we ought to start a new thread...."So how embarrassed have you been since owning a labrador?"

Oh, I think we beat that! Ella stole a certain (used) incontinence product from a family member's bin and paraded it around the house at a large family function! The only moment worse than this was when I had to pry it from her jaws and ask said family member what they would like me to do with it :shake::facepalm:

Gosh, he didn't jump on you and pull a critical piece of pj down so I'd say you have a ways to go yet. ;)
