Dog bleeding from bum?

    Yeah going try take her Friday cos of bank hols it's a pain! When I'm cleaning it their is like dark yellow brown coming off what is it?

    Well, not sure, but as wounds heal they do discharge a bit of fluid. It also could be normal anal gland secretions. The vet is the best person to give advice on what it is and what to do about it. Good to hear that you can take her on Friday.

    If she had impacted anal glands then that is probably still the yukky infected gunk coming out of it. I would call the vet today though just to be sure.

    Sounds like the poor girl is very uncomfortable, I'd call the vet for advice - it's no good guessing. Hope she's feeling better soon x

    Picked up some anti bacterial things from vets today and using that redness gone down and looks abit better abcess looks cleaner too and she doesn't mind me touching it still check up on Tuesday though :)

    The abcess looks like it's drained itself now it's really flat and blood and liquid was coming out this morning the temptation the squeeze it is intense lol
