Its so funny reading all the different schedules - dogs are truly such individuals arent they.
We have been so lucky with Huxley, he is fully trate crained, but from 13 weeks old he goes to bed anywhere between 10-11 (he is snoozing the night away before then but at that stage we will pop him in his crate instead of on his cushion, or the lounge floor, or wherever he has chosen to lay about), and he will sleep extremely happily until 9.30-10 in the morning. In the weekdays my OH gets up at 6 a.m and lets him out for a wee and a cuddle and gives him breakfast, but he is entirely uninterested in getting up at that hour, he will sort of look at you like you are mad and take himself back to bed. Its amazing in the weekend as he really does not get up until we do. He is also very good in that if there is something wrong he will cry and alert us immediately, and we leave the doors open so we hear it on the first go. On the odd occasion he has had a stomach upset we know about it immediately. I feel very lucky with all of this, but of course he comes with his own unique challenges too! such as passionate sock theft from morning to night, but the sleeping is wonderful :)
