Re: Harry off to vets Update He's an english springer spaniel /german wirehaired pointer cross. His litter mates looked like smooth haired springers, and one little one looked like Harry, but only 2 of them from a litter of 12 originally. I can definitely recommend a Harry for your next puppy. Although it was an accidental mating between his parents, if ever there was another, I'd very probably have to have a little brother or sister for this lot here! ;D He's adorable.

Re: Harry off to vets Update Harry is back from the vets. Picked him up about 1pm. The lump has been removed, and examined. It was as the vet suspected a histiocytoma, a benign growth. So now it's off, and he's a sleepy boy! ALthough it would have likely gone away in time, I'm pleased that we went ahead with the operation to have it removed. He's got his cone on, bless him and he's plodding about the garden, and living room, flopping down to sleep where ever he is at the time. Charlie is being very good, and calm, and not bothering him too much. But just to be on the safe side, I won't be leaving them alone over the next few days.

Re: Harry off to vets Update AH, thank you so much for all your kind wishes for Harry. He's a bit chirpier today. Still sleeping a lot, and not very keen on Charlie bounding in his face all the time! Didn't seem very impressed when OH took Charlie on a long walk this morning without him. From tomorrow he can go on lead walks only for 10 days or so. He's going to go stir crazy! But the foot looks fine, and he's not paying it too much attention. x

Re: Harry off to vets Update Harry is feeling his old self again now I think. He's protesting loudly enough when he gets left behind on walks anyway! He's going for his first follow up visit tomorrow so hopefully the vet will be pleased with how he's doing.
