Just picked Lady up from kennels where she has been all week while we took a few very wet days away in Dorset. She knows the kennels well and seems to get on there well too - she is there for a couple of 2 day vists a month throughout the summer because of work commitments. Well I duly arrived, paid the bill and awaited arrival of one really eager dog. Looking forward to the greeting of all greetings you might say. Here she comes straining at the leash, tail wagging, tongue hanging out. Kennel maid, struggling with her lead, bedding and toys, drops the lead when she sees me. Dog off like a rocket towards me. Me braced for an impact that never happened. She shot straight passed me into the office where she had remembered about a big open bag of kibbles on the floor. Head straight in the bag followed by me hot on her heals and trying to get head OUT of bag. There's doggy love for you!
Re: Lady has her priorities sorted She obviously had a lovely time on her holidays. Sorry for you with the weather. What a wet time you must have had. I cannot believe there is any water left in the sky here in Hampshire!
