Helping out today with the setting up of the Edenbridge and Oxted Show that involved painting about a million miles of fencing. Needless to say the small black dog is now covered in white paint. Why is it that, just like children, some dogs get into everything and get paint on their paws, eye brows and ears - oh and the rump, whereas other black Labs of the SAME age don't get any paint on them at all. ;D I have to say she is such great fun and company to have around.

Re: Small Black Dog has white ears I'm entering her in the fun dog show gun dogs section on Monday - I have to get the paint off by then. : The year before last she got a third, last year she got nowhere possible because she had a very bad limp. Limp now fixed and paint everywhere - aaaargh!

Re: Small Black Dog has white ears Well it's just three long hairs that need about 1/3 trimming off the ends. Ok I'll look for another solution. Mascara will probably show up and get us disqualified, but I might get away with the minutest touch of black shoe polish. I've got all the rest of the paint off - well it fell off as her coat is quite oily, so I was hoping the same would happen with the long hairs in her eyebrows, but apparently not. Can't put her in the dog show as she is as the white bits stick out like a sore thumb and kinda draw your eye in.
