Babies of all types have pot bellies. Their frames aren't big enough for all their insides. She's totally gorgeous and not a bit fat xxx
Glad it all went well at the vet's Keep playing the sympathy card, Charlie! There are plenty more milk bones where those ones came from.
Betsy is very cute, Charlie looks like he's praying on his place board "Dear God, what have my humans done to me".
Aw cute little Betsy, do you think she will end up quite dark @JulieT? her face and paws are slightly darker
I'm not sure - her body is quite pale, although she has colouring down her back. The breeder said she was hoping she'd be quite dark, apparently yellows often get a bit darker as the get older. Guess I'll have to wait and see!
Obi got darker in selected parts as he got older (ears, tail tip, bits of his legs...). Not in earnest till about a year old though.
Charlie finds his safe space in the garden away from nipping puppies....it'll be a bit tricky when Shortie grows tall enough to get in, but hopefully that won't be for a while yet. L16A5544 by julieandcharlie julieandcharlie, on Flickr
He's a very beautiful, athletic dog! By far the most athletic choccie I've seen in the flesh (I know we have other cholcolate beauties on here but I've not had the pleasure of meeting them) and probably amongst the most athletic labs in general that I've seen.
Thank you! That means a lot - it was a hard fought recovery, and it's lovely to think he is as fit as he can be. Shortie has an extremely impressive bum! I hope her head catches up - it will, her skull will grow a lot.
Charlie is very well muscled and Shorty looks very well put together, I just love Charlie's expression "I am king of the pool" and Shortie says "so far"
"King of the pool" sounds a lot more impressive than "stuck in the pool because if I get out, the munchkin will bite my ankles"
Shorty meets the treat and train....Charlie continues to be less than impressed. Betsy and the treat and train by julieandcharlie julieandcharlie, on Flickr
