le foux chein - the stupid dog ok, so me and the family were away in france and had left jack at home with my mother in law. We got a frantic text yesterday saying jack had eaten 2 batteries! arrgh, we were in france the dog in england, thank god for internet - we called the vets, arranged someone to take him to the vets and recieved a call later to say no batteries had been found on the xray! thank god, however we did have a bill of £261 to pay. So glad i booked that pet insurance before our holiday as i was tempted to leave it til we got back, now to get the claim form signed and sent off and hopefully we will get most of that back! jack is now fairly subdued but im guessing that could still be partly the sedation and the fact we are now back from holidays, next time hes coming with us! turns out he only took the cardboard with batteries off the shelf (which we didnt know he could reach) chomped up the cardboard and luckily no batteries. an expensive lesson learned from us i can tell you!
