How much should I reduce soaking of kibble?

Bruce, you handsome boy!!! My Cooper is two years old and I add water sometimes and other times I do not. He doesn't leave one little piece of kibble in the bowl either way. Reason I started adding water was so that he wouldn't gobble up his breakfast or dinner in 10 seconds. Plus it fills his tummy some, too. Now I do one meal with water and one without so he crunches kibble which might help some in teeth cleaning! I do not soak, though....just top it off and serve! Congratulations on your lovely boy.

We stopped soaking Bailey's kibble as he wasn't eating it - he now has it dry, but he's always been good at drinking water without encouragement. Occasionally I will put gravy on his kibble just before giving it to him, to give him a treat (and yup he gobbles it all down in one go!). He's always been a grazer rather than a gobbler anyway so dry kibble seems to suit him better.

Bruce is lovely and sounds a lot like Luna, who too is very slim with long legs and mahoosive paws!

I still soak her kibble at 22 weeks mainly as it takes her longer to eat it like that and at the weekend a treat mixed through, raw egg, sardine today or maybe some rice.

I also add water for Lilly's meals....always have and don't plan on stopping now she is 6 yo.
A way of making sure she drinks a bit more originally now just habit!

I don't soak but do add a splash of water and serve immediately basically to slow them down a bit as they're hoover's!

I don't usually put water with Bailey' kibble, but as he's teething at the moment and yesterday was a very warm day, I thought I would put some water on it to make sure he got some more water than usual and it would possibly be easier for him to eat. The fussy boy would have none of it and totally ignored his lunch after eating only half his breakfast! Dinner was therefore back to dry and guzzled down!
