I have finally found a field without other dogs around! It is next to a road so it's not going to work for off-lead work, and it's not exactly a public space so I might get told off and moved on at some point - but I'm going to use it in the meantime and hope for the best. It was empty at 7am this morning and again at 6pm tonight so fingers crossed. It will be great to be able to do some training without the looming distractions of other people and dogs.

AND we've got a puppy playdate for tomorrow with another little spaniel, two weeks younger than Jess.

AND I've found a great trainer, with our first appointment hopefully in a couple of weeks. I really hope I'll be posting soon with good news about Jess's transformation into a calm, dignified dog :)

Yes, I know... But she has such a noble, dignified nose! It's so misleading....
