Crumbs, its been an absolute scorcher here. Happens to be a busy time for me work-wise too (work from home) so I've had to be indoors.

Now, Molly doesn't seem to be too happy with this heat, albeit a brief burst of summer, so she has been in most of the day, slumped beside me. Wow, for the first time since she's arrived I've been able to work ;)

So, heat wave is not all bad, though as it begins to cool slightly, cracker-dog is beginning to surface - look out Alfie
Tomorrow we have serious thunder storms forecast so goodness knows what's in store.

Great fun and a constant surprise these short sweet pup times aren't they?

As they say of puppy/babyhood: "the days are long but the time is short" :)

Enjoy the restful times! I hope she takes the thunderstorms in her stride.

My partner said last night that Molly was finally like Monty Dons dogs (gardener's world), following him calmly around the garden while he worked. It only takes the temp to get up to 30 degrees for that to happen then!

Rory found a football in the hedge it made him so happy but I took it off him after a quick play because it was still too hot at 7.30
