My 9 month old lab puppy is good during the day but after hes been fed in the evening he just will not settle down he just runs around getting into mischief. Ive tries putting on the lead by me but he thinks this is a game and just bites the lead and then plays tug of war with it? Any advice?
Mine used to do this and then suddenly they settle down in the evenings, think mine settled at about nine months old. I tried teaching the settle, but it didn't really work. Age seems to do the trick
I made him lie on his bed and did a massage until he could relax. He seemed to be over tired, I just got him into a routine of lying down and relaxing. It worked with Rory but it does seem age related
