So I just gave Arnie two chicken necks for dinner. He pretty much swallowed them whole. I didn't hear a single bone crunch.

    Should I be concerned?

I wouldn't worry - they can be a little over-enthusiastic to start with. Just keep an eye on him for any signs of discomfort or unusual behaviour, in which case, take him to the vet. You might find he regurgitates them and has a second (more thorough) go at chewing them. This is perfectly normal, so try not to get grossed out by it! He'll get the hang of it eventually and will calm down.

How long were they? And how big around? The bag I bought were so small, a couple of inches long and maybe a half inch diameter. I reserved them for the cats. They were snack size for Oban.

Yeah they weren't massive. He just gulped them down and then got into the rest of his meal, which was a raw barf patty.

I just wanted to hear some bone crunching, but there was none. All good tho, he doesn't seem to be sick from it or have to regurgitate.
