No, Lucan has what the vet describes as chronic airways inflammation, pressure on his throat will bring on a nasty coughing fit. He uses a steroid inhaler to keep it under control.

    Hi Everyone,
I'm getting my chocolate.lab puppy in approx. 2 to 2 1/2 weeks, can't wait!! I have a question about the puppy harness. I can understand not leaving a collar on them when in their crate, never did with our beloved Coco either. What about leaving harness on when in crate? I never had a harness for Coco, but I have one for new pup. Should I be taking harness off also? Not sure about that one and any advice is appreciated.

The harness is more material, I wouldn't feel safe to leave a harness on in the crate with my pup. I would be scared she would be able to reach and chew it (they are very intelligent and find ways for everything) or get stuck somehow.

Thank you very much for the advice. I am new to a harness on a puppy and never used one for my beloved Cocco. I never put her in the crate with a collar for fear of her hooking it somehow on the crate sides and hurting herself. I guess it will be a naked puppy in the crate for safety's sake.
