    Good Afternoon All,

My little guy will be 1 year old this weekend - time flies when you are having fun!! haha
He is currently 65 pounds and currently on Orijen Large Breed puppy.

I was wondering when is the best time to switch his over to adult kibble? You hear some many different opinions that I am confused.

    Thanks

Are you planning on sticking with Orijin? I thought they said with their normal food you could use it from puppy stage. Might be wrong.
I would go with the advice on the packet or website. Think most foods recommend either 12 or 18 months....rheumatoid are not all the same. Confusingly.
I think @JulieT has posted about this before somewhere but on my phone and not that easy to find...

What does your breeder say? And does he/she have a food recommendation? We didn't switch, puppy was weaned on to an All STages food which I stuck with.

Not being a breeder and not having switched myself, still, I hazard an opinion that it can be any time you want now. If you stick with the same brand and carefully compare ingredients you might find they are so close you could switch cold turkey but mixing is probably safer.
