taking jasper to our first dog show on sunday, fun day at the guide dog training school ...... starting with sponsored walk at 10, didnt think we would of been able to do this with jasper having been on short lead walks, built his fitness up over the last week so giving it a go, every penny helps towards these brilliant training schools followed by pet dog show,.....wish us luck, one of the prizes is the nicest looking dog, my son thinks thats in the bag hehehe guide dog display,.....i am so looking forward to this one,....the level of training with the guide dog is amazing .....now thats what i call training i live very close to the school so see the dogs often out and about...always cheers me up to see them hard at work i speak often to one trainer in particular who is aware of the fear i have had with dogs, on sunday she is introducing me to the g s d. that should be fun ??? will keep you all updated and will take lots of photos jasper will have a ball with all the doggies, he got a little fan club, up to now he as got 12 followers attending him to the show,....grooming day tomorrow
Re: dog show i am not expecting a win, ;D.........logan is leading the way it might just be a sympathy vote dog and handler with elbow problems :-\ hope they raise a lot of money on the day my eyes will be peeled looking out for a special little black puppy harley.......who as a very special sponsor mummy oh and daddy also looking to do some voluntary work in the very near future i am so excited,my son and i have been invited to a bbq on saturday my son as declined he wants to be fit and well for sunday, bless him i might just be a little hungover.......bought him new collar new lead and new name tag, .....
Re: dog show Well if prizes were given out for preparation and commitment then Jasper would do a full sweep of all the prizes !Good luck to you all.sounds like you have got a lovely weekend planned.keep your eyes peeled for little Harley and introduce your new GSD friend to us too.dont be scared Lynne,you are super with Jasper and a guide dog will be very gentle with you xxxx
