This is our 6 month old Lab, Bailey. Shy and stressed he is not! Here he is asleep, but usually he adopts this position when anyone is around who may like to give him a belly rub. He is very fond of doing this when I'm in the kitchen trying to cook dinner, he drops to his back on my feet which slows down proceedings just a little!
Love it - my Bailey is also six months old and this is what I wake to in the mornings! He sneaks onto the bottom of the bed around 4am and curls up in the crook of my knees - by 6am he is up between me and my OH, head on my pillow, on his back just like your Bailey in the picture! The are funny aren't they
Lovely! My boy, Shadow, does this, too. He's forever in search of a tummy rub! He does somersaults to get them, putting his head down between his front legs and then rolling his back end over the top, my lovely, ridiculous boy
Thanks to everyone. He makes me laugh every single day. Yes he is a clown at times, but he's my clown and I don't know what I'd do without him. This afternoon however, I would have given him to anyone who looked like they might take him. We had a disastrous training session/walk where he ignored every single recall and behaved like he'd never walked on loose lead in his life. A casual observer would have thought he was completely loopy and untrained. That's what I thought and I know how much training he has had! Still, at the moment he is fast asleep at my husbands feet and we know how lucky we are to be sharing his life. Tomorrow is another day!
