Our three just love playing tuggy together... Here is Benson, three on Monday, Bramble 10 months today, and Casper nearly 8 having a great time racing around the garden. Casper spent ages chasing Bramble round and round. Then all three decided to help @Bensons-dad tidy our old Range Rover. It's great that Bramble is a bit older and can race around and hold her own with the other two. They all get on so well, we are really lucky methinks. Although when they all decide it's time to use the front room as a playground it's not quite so fun.
Oh, they are all so good together! Your boys are great with Bramble. Did they ever tell her off when she was a baby!?
Not really. Bramble was crated from day one, we have 2 crates, one for Benson in the kitchen, he goes there when he wants peace and quiet. Bramble learnt very early on to leave him be. She has her own crate in the front room, so we can be all together, but she is not bothering Benson or Casper. Casper really has ignored Bramble until recently, (he did growl though..) now they play, with Casper initiating, and responding to her play cues which is lovely. Conversely, Benson gets irritated by her now, more because occasionally on walks she is a bit quick of the mark, whereas I can steady Benson (by blowing stop so not ideal) so she can have a dedicated retrieve. Although I tend to just work on lead or staying close with the pair of them together, not proper training. That's the greatest challenge, as they have such different personalities and training needs. Bramble is steady, with a terrific nose, and just seems to "find" things...Benson simply has to run in for everything, and likes to be handled to find stuff, I end up looking like a traffic cop on speed...
Hehe, you describing Benson and Bramble is exactly the same as my two. Have you tried using the Treat & Train for a settle while the other one is working?
Ah that's an idea! I am going to start working on that soon, will try somewhere easy like the garden. I am quite keen to work on Brambles' drive, so not too worried about steadiness with her right now.
Great photos. I love having three too, when my friend's dog visits. They have just retired and have booked lots of holidays, so Zaba will be here at his second home lots.
