Feeling rather rude as I have been posting in this forum for a few weeks before making a proper introduction. To be honest I was so desperate for support with my biting puppy I just launched straight in as it was such a relief to see that others have the same problem. So Hello! I have 5 month old black lab, Cassie, bred by some friends. I have dogs most of my live, though this is my first lab. Now semi retired and son and daughter almost left home I am enjoying watching her grow and learn and the joy of positive reinforcement training. I have a lovely photo of her that would like to put on, I will try! Oh yeah, the crocopup is receding - I am learning that often she needs something, to go outside or is genuinely hungry. But not always! But last night when watching tv she went to fetch her antler to chew herself! A big advance.
