    What beautiful scenery, how wonderful the world really is. I can't say I blame Simba for not wanting to get near the edge, even the photo viewpoint gave me wobbly legs :)

    Your National Parks are more dog friendly than ours. In the US dogs, even on leashes are only allowed in the developed areas not on the trails:(. We avoid National Parks and mostly stick to National Forests and State Forest, which generally have a lot fewer restrictions. Unfortunately the National Parks often have the most spectacular scenery, but the Oregon Cascades and Wallowas are pretty spectacular too.

    Wow, I didn't know that! Boy that sucks. There are a few areas in the park where dogs are not allowed on the trails due to sensitive wildlife areas but the vast majority of it is accessible to dogs on leashes.

    We're similar here. No dogs allowed in national parks :(. State forests are ok but most are on-lead only
