The problem is that I don't know if "normal Ella" or "crazy Ella" will show up on the day. If it's the latter, I may not recover from the embarrassment. Ever.

Plus, I've never transferred Ella's registration ownership over to me (from the breeder) so I think I have to do that first. I have no idea about any of that stuff... Do I have to become a member to transfer her into my name? Does she have a membership and I have a membership? Arrgghh so much to work out first.

What? What? You own a Chocolate Labrador and you haven't yet learned to recover from embarrassment? Get over yourself. :D Or I'll send Charlie. :D:D:D

[By the way, owners of anything but a chocolate are not allowed to say things like this...]

Almost 72 hours post quake and there have been 800+ aftershocks (and counting). A handful of 5.7s and higher. Prior to Sunday night, the biggest quake I'd ever experienced was a 5.4, and I've lived my entire life on an active faultline. Then yesterday a catastrophic weather event hit Wellington - torrential rain which caused flooding all over the region. It really is Trump-ageddon. Silver lining - Xena thought her walk this morning was just AWESOME because all the stormwater drains had overflowed and left all sorts of disgusting debris all over place. I had to leash her up to walk past the worst of it. Blerg.

I hope you're staying safe over there.

Ella says she's very jealous of all of the water and she hopes Xena managed to get a thing or two before you put the lead on :D

There was some frantic snuffling, so I'm sure it was suitably disgusting :puke:

Oh she's so polite. I'd play with her!

I wish I had a treat bag that didn't require it to be clipped on or worn around your waist. When I'm wearing my long heavy winter coat it just doesn't work. I clip it onto my pocket but it generally falls off at some point of the walk, which is happiness for Simba but still.....

Just catching up on some topics, so glad you are okay.:hug: It's truly scary when it happens. We nearly lost my sister in law in the massive quake Christchurch had must be coming up for five years now. Like so many people they lost everything, now they live in Dunedin. :)

Maybe you'll strike it lucky and come across a PAT dog instead :) Best of luck for tomorrow.

Took Xena to daycare today because I had 101 things I needed to get done. When I went to pick her up there was another lady waiting for her dogs. Daycare lady brings out her two lovely Goldens, owner opens her arms and...they run straight for me and Dawn. I could almost hear Dug from Up! "I don't know you but I LOVE you". Heh oh dear, dogs are a**holes, aren't they?

The Christchurch one was just awful, I'm glad that they got out ok and have relocated somewhere safer, although Dunedin wouldn't have been my first choice lol. They revised the magnitude of Sunday's quake to 7.8, which is truly enormous. I'm just on tenterhooks now, hoping that another big aftershock doesn't hit and cause everything to come tumbling down. I feel like we got off too easy. But you also have to keep going on with your life. Australia and all its animals that want to kill you is looking pretty good right now.
