Help/Advice with lab puppy and small children (terrified)

    You did the right thing. Our shelter won't adopt puppies to families with kids under 6. Some people think that is harsh, but this is why they have that policy. Glad she has a great home and that you guys can still see her! She looks so cute in your avatar pic.

    You made the right decision for your family and for your dog. As others have said, with your sister-in-law having her at least you can still see her. Well done for making a tough and brave decision.

    I'm sure you have made the best decision for your family. Better to do it now rather than later. It is impossible to fully understand how hard a puppy can be around children until you have one. x
