I follow this trainer on YouTube and he recently posted a video about teaching your dog to catch treats. "Not really my thing", I thought - but watched anyway because the choc pup is gorgeous. Turns out the trainer has a great idea to incorporate the treat catching with an issue that a lot of puppy people here seem to have, which is how to politely greet strangers. A bonus (particularly for you in the UK) is the crazy down-home southern US accent of the trainer. Oh, and there is a pig wandering around during the session. Here is the treat-catching vid: Bonus vid of Rottie puppy next to Lab puppy learning to stay - be still my heart! Note: I don't own these vids, don't know the trainer - just find him entertaining, clever and helpful (plus he has beautiful dogs!)
Really enjoyed watching those videos, love Stonnies fun and relaxed approach. His dogs work with him because they choose too...just great!
Yeah I am a massive fan of stonnie Dennis and his approach to training. He has a series of videos called common sense puppy training that is great as well as Labrador puppy training from ground basics. He uses his own dog Henry in it who is an awesome retriever
