Not enough food here either! But the Leave It game works great, especially on walks. Just pick up Every Piece of garbage you can find and the hooman will give you a treat! My mom is getting a bit suspicious now, though, and sometimes she just ignores me when I pick up garbage even though I carry it for Ages. But I have discovered that if I pretend to eat it she gives me a treat really quickly!! :doug:It works out great, either way I get to Eat which is the most imporatant thing, right??

You should try poo eating - really scrumptious and my Mum gives out loads of treats for leaving it and then I go back and wolf it down, yummy!

Can I just say it is GREAT to have a space where we dogs can exchange our training tips and the problems that we are having with our hoomans? It is so good to know I'm not the only one who struggles to understand them at times. I love this forum.

We had to a Labrador beauty afternoon. It's a bit boring and all the brushing tickles, I loved having my ears cleaned. Does anyone know what pathetically vain means?

My parents starve me also. They come home and I'm so excited because I'm STARVING. I race over to my food dish. Then Mom tells me that I'm going for a walk, does she not understand that I am fading away to NOTHING?!

I please the hoomans and go for a dreaded walk, I stay on my best behaviour as to make sure they feed me.

We get home and I race to my food dish, dad follows (finally they listen to me) he grabs my bucket of food and leaveso_O!! I follow him in such disgrace to find out that oops, he is refilling the bucket. Ok sorry dad, I run back to my food bowl so he can feed me. But I was running soooo fast, I fell and I slid across the floor and took out a coffee table and a lamp. Mom was so worried about me she wouldn't stop pestering me. UGH, just feed me and all will be ok, food heals all. Pretty simple Mom.

Mum has been teaching me "guilty" today - where I put my head between my paws. I'm doing good - but do you think I'll get blamed for something I promise I didn't do..?

guess who came to play today...................Benson and Casper..................they came to my house......MY HOUSE.......it was great, we ran, we played, we all got really excited. Benson LOVED my toy box - he got lots of my toys out and played with them......it was GREAT :doug:
Benson's mum took a few photos of us all sitting nicely waiting for a treat.......we showed them that we know how to get treats out of them :bone:

My mum and Benson's were really boring........they didn't jump around and get excited like we did.........we think they are a bit strange!!
When they left we had to go to my mums work then I went to agility which I LOVE..........I showed mum how quick I can be around the course and my mum and Rianne (she's our trainer, but not a shoe one!) were talking about how well I done 'working away from mum' whatever that means.......I just waited til mum said tunnel and I went through the tunnel, mum then shouted go go so I jumped 2 jumps then she shouted tunnel again so I went through the other tunnel.....I done all that work and mum just stood still and just shouted the words....how lazy is that!! I did get extra treats though so I didn't mind.
Anyway, after such an exciting day I really need to sleep so am going to go and get on my parents bed and get comfy before they come up

I don't eat poo. Not really. Well, that one time I tried the cow poo. And tried it again just because I had to see if I liked it or not, but no. :shake:

I wonder if they're under the weather, Harley? I mead it seems a bit odd to meet up with friends and not run round like a lunatic. I'd be keeping an eye on your mum if I were you. Is she eating and drinking OK? Is her poo OK?

You should eat poo. It's yummy!

Mum says I'm a horrible puppy. But I think she's horrible for not letting me eat poo!

Mmmmm poo. I grabbed a bit of cat poo this morning, dad shouted LEAVE! But he' sooooo slow, I'd already eaten it. We walk down a little lane where a cat poos - one never knows which side it will be, and this morning it was JACKPOT!

PS Stanley, your mum is wrong in this instance, you are NOT a horrible puppy. She's obviously never tried it. Humans are terribly fussy creatures.

Guys i went this place called the Beech today. Wow

It was so big and fun i met a flat coat retreiver called walter he was bigger than me and kept trying to bite my ears coz there all floppy but we were just playin about

Then walter went home and i had the WHOLE beech to myself. I ran and got the ball when mum through it ! And i even took it back to her and swapped for some yummy chicken. I found something called a shell.? Has anyone ever eaten one before they are crunchy

Oh I LOVE the beech - so many yummy things to eat there! Yesterday I ate some of my favourite, geese poop! Mum said it was time to get in the car, but I wasn't quite done running about with my ball and sampling geese poop. I ran off and went into the water, it was so so cold! But I love water and I brought my ball in so mum could come and throw it for me. My mum was running like a slow old dog after me, so that was a fun game and I ran too. But then the worst thing happened - my ball sunk into the water and no matter how much I put my head in the water, I couldn't reach it!! Mum seemed mad, so I agreed to get out of the water but I couldn't get my poor ball off my mind! I'm so sad about it, it was my best one. I've been pretty glum thinking about it.

After todays walk my people took me Chrristmasshopping. We had a nice walk through the park into the town. I seemed to spend a lot of time sitting outside shops waiting for mum, then this nice lady in a cream coat came up and fussed me. Better still, she had a bag of gravy bones! She gave me on, so I thanked her with a nice pawmark on her coat. A few shops later she came up again and gave me another gravy bone and tickled my ears! I think I like Christmasshopping after all!

Cheer up Quinn - I hear Father Christmas brings presents to dogs who've been good - you never know, he just might bring you and even better ball. You just have to be extra good for a couple more weeks. Keeping my paw crossed for you.
