Hi Billy and welcome to the forum. Here's an article which may help you with where to start: http://www.thelabradorsite.com/labrador-breeders-how-to-find-a-good-one/

First off you need to decide what you're after in a Lab. Is it going to be for working in the field, in the show ring or just as a pet? Then start looking for breeders that offer the sort of dog you're after. The Champdogs website has loads of reputable breeders on it so is good for rummaging through to find the dogs that tickle your fancy. Just make sure you don't negotiate on the health tests, whatever type you go for.

Good luck with your search, and do let us know how you get on.

Hi Billy, a very warm welcome to the forum. @snowbunny has given you excellent advice. My main bit of advice would be health tests are vital, how ever difficult it may be don't buy a puppy whose parents haven't been health tested. Also a good breeder won't mind you asking a hundred and one questions. I'd follow your gut feeling as well, if you are at all unsure walk away.

Good luck in your very exciting search, I'm looking forward to some puppy photos :)
