I`d like to recommend Sykes Cottages for breaks with dogs , they have a really good selection and are a nice company to deal with too .
One cottage we particularly liked was Cow Dee Farm cottage in Dorset , slightly shambolic but very welcoming for dogs , large enclosed garden and dog walking field just over the lane where we watched Roe Deer running every evening . Its only about ten minutes from the coast at Charmouth which is an all year round dog friendly beach, lots of good pubs doing great food , The George at Chideock was a favourite, one of River Cottage chefs is manager, dogs welcome :)

Funnily enough we just booked with Sykes last night for our half term. Deliberated for yonks and got a bit desperate.
Our brief was - dog friendly - wi-fi (eh sophie ::) ) - west coast of scotland - not entirely covered in slidey floors........
Didn't get the enclosed garden but can't complain at the price.

I also found cottages4you a good website and also unique-cottages.
Anything that helps search on the specifics of dogs and wi-fi!
