I have just returned from a lovely very long walk with Hattie and her behaviour was most odd. She is usually pretty close to me and sometimes I am tripping over her, but not today, she kept lagging behind and disappearing. I went back to see what she was unto and yes she was Blackberry picking, eating all the lovely ripe ones but leaving the unripened ones for another day ;D It was a very funny thing to see a dog do ;D Helen x

Re: Blackberry picking NOT! By coincidence Bess was up to the very same thing this afternoon. I was surprised at how delicately Bess picked out the ripe ones. I hope neither Hattie or Bess get a tummy ache. Alice
Re: Blackberry picking NOT! Charlie raided my raspberries today - like a bull in a china shop! Canes torn down. Ripe ones gobbled, unripe ones ripped off and spat out..! : Nice berry picking must be a girl thing! ;D
