And then came Luna. Between her dribbling mouthfuls of water across the floor after drinking, and now her new game of digging in the water until there's nary a drop left in the bowl, I'm constantly mopping up wet. And that's before the wees! I knew I was due a monster.
The fact that Titey refuses to drink out of his own water bowl, he MUST drink from the cats... And waking up at 6am. Not a fan
Corona's most annoying habit is definitely waking up by 5:30-6am. But putting EVERYTHING in her mouth (remember toxic berries and foam bedding all in one day??) is a close second!! Right behind those 2, would be her new bad habit of barking at things that scare her!! She also is a super sloppy drinker but I'm not gonna sweat that one, just keep the towel near by...
I've never minded the early morning thing and get up a 5 everyday. Now moo is old she's getting a little eccentric she can't hear and can't see to well and now she's started to bark in the crazy hours of the night thinking I've forgotten yo get up.this morning it was 230 . When they get old the're a joy but the stuff they can get up to is very puppyish. she finds things a bit confusing. It Still quickens my heart with joy when she tries to gallop up to me on a recall. When she was young she could fly now she canters like an old horse
Since buying cosy padded bed liners for their crates my two have just slept until I go to wake them! They still have their vet bed and blankies too.
Teenage Indie discovered she could pick the unripe apples from the tree. She'd pick one, run into the house, play with it, lose it somewhere and then rush out to get another. She stood on her hind legs to get the high ones and within a week we had no apples. A few weeks later I found 9 mouldy apples under the sofa then she discovered the new love of her life in the garden was unripe strawberries, so no strawberries for us...and then the cherry tomatoes, which she would pick, carry into the living room then roll on them until they exploded... there went my dream of lovely home grown veg last summer...
