Casper has an extra Christmas present...just ordered him an expensive italian haqihana harness. After he left his harness hanging somewhere on a walk. Came back dead chuffed sans harness...

Just had a terrible shock, my neighbours lovely old gr was attacked as their daughter walked him. It was 830 at night he was on his lead being walked up the street a Loose great Dane picked him up by the chest and shook him. Hes got horrific chest injuries but is making a good recovery . It strange but we don't know who this dogs belongs too, but believe me we will all be on the look out. Poor Ollie he such a sweetheart

    Have anyone told the police?

Hope Ollie will make a full recovery. It must of been terrible for the daughter who was walking him. Please let us know how he is getting on.

Oh that's terrible @SwampDonkey, poor dog. I don't understand why these awful dogs are out on their own.

They tried the dog warden but everything is shut during the hols. We will find out who it was proving it will be impossible but there's not many black and white Danes round here so We will know who you avoid. They have also spoke to the local community support officer.

It's just so upsetting when lovely dogs get hurt through no fault of their own. They are such nice people and Ollies a really fine old boy. Very sad but he'll be ok now

Had the mosy brilliant swampy walk today. Rory had so much fun and was so disgusting and filthy that had to have bath with shampoo and everything. He was slimy green and silty black and he stunk of swamp. A dog walking friend saw us walking home and just laughed . He's all warm and fuzzy on the sofa now. It was great but I do miss the days when I had more dogs it was so much fun. A lot smellier though:D

Someone today said to me that I was so lucky to have a dog that comes back when I whistle! (I managed not to reply that the harder I work, the luckier I get.)
Perhaps Pippa should provide us all with little cards advertising Total Recall to hand out to people. ;)

Just something we could give out to encourage common sense, kindness and good training methods would be great. Do you think they would read them?;)
